Style:

I play an array of different styles, from original and contemporary house, nu-disco and nu-jazz, to progressive and some tech house. I try to listen to as many different genres as I can so as to broaden creative influences - there is so much great music out there and I’m really enjoying exploring and finding my way.

Background:

I’ve always had a huge passion for music, ever since I can remember. When I was younger I would always be listening to my Dad’s diverse music collection and for birthdays I’d always ask for cds. My first ever Saturday job I got solely so I could buy more music!

I studied art at college, but unimpressed with the music of ‘cheesy / student nights’ I craved something different and, on attending a House night, I instantly became intrigued with the music and was compelled to listen more. Following the sound, I saw as many different, up and coming, local and well known DJs as I could, each time growing a deeper passion for this music scene; feeling inspired and determined I knew what direction I wanted to take...I signed up to the DJ Academy...taking full grasp of the course, I gained essential skills giving me a solid foundation on which to build.

Since graduating from the Academy I have promoted and played successful nights in the Cardiff and Bristol area. It was through the Academy I met Matt Johnson (tutor on the course) who invited me to play for NCS after being “impressed with my attitude and ability” on the Academy.

I am inspired with how NCS share the same enthusiasm and passion for music, and feel fortunate enough to be involved with a team of highly professional and extremely talented DJs.

My influences range from the likes of Aeroplane, Dennis Ferrer, Justice, Underworld, Eric Prydz, Gui Boratto, to Fake Blood, Prodigy, and so many more...
